The museum provides automatic audio guides, that are available in 14 languages. After the museum tour, guests are invited to taste four of the family’s best wines in a unique wine-tasting area. Wines are offered accompanied by crackers and chocolate. Koutsogiannopoulos Wine Museum is a must!

Venetsanos winery is located right above the port of Athinios, overlooking the magnificent caldera of Santorini. The Venetsanos family has a very long tradition of producing wine. Originally was produced for the island and subsequently, it was exported extensively, and particularly to countries such as Russia. It was built in 1947 by the Venetsanos family and became the first industrial winery on the island. Its most distinguishing feature is the structural design, which essentially used gravity, facilitating energy efficiency, at a time when access to electricity and other energy sources was very limited. The winery was built in an unconventional manner constructed from above and moving downwards.
Our last stop gonna be Estate Argyros winery.Estate Argyros is a leading estate of Greece, the premier private vineyard owner on the island of Santorini as well as one of the oldest wine families in the country, continuously producing amazing wines for more than 110 years.
Estate Argyros is the largest private owner of vineyards in Santorini. The current landholdings exceed 120 ha, a vast, four-generations-long investment. The magnitude of this commitment can only be understood only when someone takes into account the fact that, in Santorini, there are numerous, far more lucrative uses of land readily available, and, sadly, more frequently preferred. Estate Argyros vineyards are old, even by Santorini standards. The average vine age exceeds 70 years, while the oldest parcels of the estate are more than two centuries old. The average yields, on a plentiful vintage, rarely gets higher than 21 hl/ha, an impressively, if not catastrophically, low number, matched by very few wines around the world.
